This Is What You Want To Hear...

...a week before you leave for a cruise ship gig.
Cruise Ship Returns After Wave Damage

NEW YORK - Passengers disembarking Monday from a cruise ship that was struck by a freak seven-story-high wave said the stormy weather that smashed windows and sent furniture flying reminded them of the Titanic.

Full story here.

OK, I know this is a small point, but isn't it strange for someone today to say "it reminded me of the Titanic" when they weren't alive back then? Kind of like a young soldier in a war zone today saying, "this reminds me of World War II." Oh well, I guess they saw the movie "Titanic" (or perhaps the Broadway musical) and that's good enough for a memory. Heck, even I remember WWII... that was the one with Tom Hanks, right?
